Tomasz Chłoń Appointed Foreign Minister's Plenipotentiary for Countering International Disinformation

Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski has appointed Tomasz Chłoń as his plenipotentiary for countering international disinformation. Chłoń chairs the Resilience Council against International Disinformation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs — an advisory body established in 2024 that brings together 22 experts from civil society, academia, and the private sector to analyse threats, develop legislative recommendations, and support public awareness around information manipulation.

Chłoń is a longstanding contributor to SAUFEX work; together with Robert Kupiecki he authored Towards FIMI Resilience Council in Poland: A Research and Progress Report.
