Poland’s Resilience Council has warned that Russia is intensifying disinformation surrounding the Volhynian crime, circulating allegedly declassified FSB documents whose authenticity Polish historians question. The historians suspect the materials combine incidents from different times and places into manipulated composites, designed to strain Polish-Ukrainian relations.

The Council urges the public to exercise restraint and skepticism toward unverified Russian sources, emphasizing that deepening this division serves Russia’s strategic interests and runs contrary to Polish national security.
